Talk to your GP

While your GP will Diagnose and prescribe medications for illnesses and symptoms, the GP can also refer you to a Social Prescriber that will assist you with societal difficulties and personal wellbeing.
What is a Social Prescriber?
Social Prescribing is a community support service through your local Doctors surgery.
Depending on your needs the Social Prescriber will find and allocate appropriate services to assist you.
For example;
Weight and fitness concerns - Fitness centres
Trauma and emotional pain - Therapy
Money worries - Financial advice/ Support
The list goes on. The support is determine on the help you need.
